Getting to Historic Downtown from St. Augustine Beach

You can enjoy the beach and visit Historic Downtown without hunting for downtown parking (which has gotten VERY expensive, and certain times of the year is difficult to find).

The free STAR Circulator now connects the two daily. Check your pickup location and return service before heading out, and allow extra time during busy weekends and Nights of Lights.

Old Town Trolley Beach Bus	Included with a purchased Old Town Trolley ticket. The operator lists hourly Beach Bus stops; call for the current timetable and last return.	Serves beachside hotels and the Alligator Farm, connecting with the downtown trolley at Stop 14, Plaza de la Constitución/Cathedral Basilica. Nights of Lights Park & Ride	Free on designated seasonal dates. The 2026–27 schedule has not yet been published.	Previous-season lots included Broudy’s Lot, North San Marco Lot, and the County Health Department, with service to the downtown Visitor Information Center.
