St. Augustine Beach and downtown are close, but they are two different experiences. If you want coffee near the sand, that is one list. If you want coffee while walking downtown, that is another.
The Kookaburra (Beach, Island, and Downtown locations) – One of the easiest and most dependable local coffee picks, with multiple convenient locations.
Flamingo Coffee Bar (Island side) – A strong coffee stop on Anastasia Boulevard with a laid-back island feel.
Sunrise Brew Coffee (Beach side) – A good beach-area option if you want solid coffee and an easy morning stop.
La Taza Coffee Shop (Beach side) – A coffee-and-cafe option on A1A South that gives beach guests another solid stop without going downtown.
Relámpago Coffee Lab (Downtown) – One of the better downtown picks if the coffee itself is the priority.
Sweetwater Coffee Bar & Gallery (Downtown) – Good downtown stop if you want coffee in a quieter setting.
City Perks Coffee Co. (Downtown) – Right in the historic district and easy to grab while walking St. George Street.
St. Augustine Coffee House (Downtown) – Another convenient historic district stop with a simple grab-and-go setup.
DOS Coffee & Wine (Downtown / San Marco side) – A strong choice if you want a more coffee-focused local spot a little outside the core tourist area.
Crucial Coffee (Downtown) – A solid downtown option close to the Castillo side of town.
If you want coffee near the beach, start with Kookaburra, Flamingo, Sunrise Brew, or La Taza. If you are heading downtown, Relámpago, Sweetwater, City Perks, and St. Augustine Coffee House are all easy choices.
